Beef and Lamb Patties


2 lbs lean beef.  Use good quality, grass fed, etc.
1lb ground lamb

(Make it healthy – replace with ground chicken or turkey breast. Add 1/4 c olive oil to recipe to keep moist)

2 diced garlic cloves
1 diced yellow onion
3 Slices of bread, ground into crumbs
1 whole egg
1/2 cup fresh chopped Italian parsley
1 tsp fresh ground pepper
1 tsp Greek oregano
1 tsp salt


In a large bowl, mix all ingredients until blended well.

Form into palm-sized patties and line them on a plate.

I like to BBQ them over wood charcoal so it imparts a fresh flavor. I also add some smoking chips to the fire to impart more flavor .

Be sure not to overlook!  I like to serve with fresh lemons and French fries!  Enjoy!
